Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 16 July 2026 : Version 2026-07-16-alpha
These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of PostAmigo (the "Service"). By creating an account, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms, including the Privacy & Data Protection section below.
1. Who we are and what the Service does
PostAmigo is an AI content automation platform. It collects content from web search, URLs, RSS feeds, and documents you upload, and uses artificial-intelligence providers to generate and adapt social media posts for platforms such as X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. The Service can save your post history, export generated content, and publish to LinkedIn through a connected account.
2. Alpha testing program
The Service is provided as part of an alpha testing program. It is made available "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Features may change, be removed, or fail, and data created during the alpha (including your account and post history) may be modified or deleted as part of testing. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before any planned data reset.
3. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- One account per person; accounts are personal and may not be shared or transferred.
4. Acceptable use
When using the Service you agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to generate or distribute content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, misleading, or infringes the rights of others;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its infrastructure, or other users’ data;
- abuse the AI generation features (for example through automated bulk requests, spam generation, or attempts to circumvent usage limits);
- violate the terms of the third-party platforms you publish to (X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.);
- resell or provide the Service to third parties without our prior written consent.
5. Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR)
We process your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / RGPD). This section describes what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. The data controller is the maintainer of PostAmigo, reachable at chadimansour01@gmail.com.
Personal data we collect:
- Identity and authentication data: your email address, full name, and password (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider, Supabase), or your Google account identity if you sign in with Google.
- Consent records: the date, time, and version of the Terms you accepted at sign-up.
- Profile and preferences: business domain, industry, language and country, tone and audience preferences you configure.
- Content data: the posts you generate and save (post history), and the mapping of your connected LinkedIn account (an opaque technical identifier, never your LinkedIn password).
- Generated files: files you export are stored temporarily and automatically deleted after 24 hours.
Data we deliberately do NOT keep:
- the content of emails sent through the Service (sent and discarded);
- web search and RSS results (returned to you and never persisted);
- AI prompts and responses on our servers (kept only for the lifetime of the request and never written to our database);
- authentication tokens or full email addresses in application logs (identifiers are hashed or redacted).
6. Legal bases, retention, and your rights
We rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (providing the Service you signed up for), your consent (accepting these Terms, optional features such as connecting a LinkedIn account), and our legitimate interest (securing and improving the Service during the alpha).
Retention periods:
- Account data and post history: for the lifetime of your account, then permanently purged within 30 days of account deletion.
- Application logs: up to 30 days; audit logs up to 90 days (with hashed identifiers).
- Exported files: 24 hours.
- Connected-account mappings: until you disconnect the account or delete your account.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and receive a portable copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, or to request full deletion of your account and data, contact us at chadimansour01@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority : in France, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
7. Sub-processors and data sharing
We never sell your personal data. To operate the Service we rely on the following processors, each bound by its own data processing agreement:
| Processor | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Authentication & database hosting | Account identity, application data |
| Anthropic / OpenAI | AI content generation | Content prompts (not stored by us) |
| Brave Search | Web search | Search queries |
| Unipile | LinkedIn publishing | Post content, opaque account identifiers |
| SendGrid / Brevo | Email delivery | Recipient address, email content |
Some processors may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Security
We apply security measures aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 principles, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS), strict per-user data isolation through row-level security, hardened security headers, audit logging with hashed identifiers, and a documented incident response process. Alignment with these frameworks does not constitute a formal certification. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it privately to chadimansour01@gmail.com rather than disclosing it publicly.
9. Your content and intellectual property
- You retain ownership of the content you provide and of the posts generated for you. You grant us the limited licence needed to process that content in order to operate the Service.
- You are solely responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publishing it and for what you publish on third-party platforms.
- The Service itself : its software, design, and branding : remains our exclusive property.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and given the free, experimental nature of the alpha, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, loss of profits, or damage arising from published AI-generated content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, and we may terminate the alpha program itself with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your data is deleted in accordance with the retention periods in section 6.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms during the alpha, in particular before general availability. If we make material changes, we will notify you (for example by email or in-app notice) and, where required, ask you to accept the new version. The applicable version is identified by the version number at the top of this page.
13. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably falls under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts. For any question about these Terms or your data, contact chadimansour01@gmail.com.
14. Language
These Terms are provided in English and French. The French version is provided for convenience; in case of any discrepancy, the English version prevails.
